RWGR Club Summer Movie Event: Dinesh D'Souza "Death of a Nation"

Summer has arrived, and it seems like it will be a hot one, particularly for the upcoming state elections. Republicans are gearing up for a tough fight to hold onto the governorship, lieutenant governor, and attorney general offices, while also aiming to turn the house of delegates into a Republican majority. The other side has big donors with lots of money along with using misleading Democratic rhetoric, particularly against Republicans and President Trump's Make America Great Again agenda. It will require every Republican to step up, roll up their sleeves, and do all they can to secure victory for our Republican Party candidates, particularly Winsome Sears, John Reid, Jason Miyares, David Owen, and other Republican candidates across Virginia.

In an effort to motivate our members, friends, neighbors, and family to engage in volunteering for our candidates’ victories, we are kicking off the 2025 election season with the showing of Dinesh D’Souza’s classic film, “Death Of A Nation”.

The movie reflects on the parallels between President Donald Trump and President Abraham Lincoln along with correlations that Trump and the Republicans face from opposition by the Democratic Party and the challenges of restoring our Constitutional Republic and combating against the forces that want to destroy the nation.

Bring friends, neighbors, and anyone for this enjoyable evening of relaxation and entertainment. We suggest a donation of $5.00 per person which covers the movie, popcorn, chips, candy, and non-alcoholic drinks.

The Republican Women of Greater Richmond club brings together women and men of all ages, ethnicities, and backgrounds who agree in principle with the ideals and values of the Republican Party. We work to positively impact the direction of our nation, our state and our local communities through recruiting, training, education, advocacy, activism, and empowering our members in the political process.

RWGR Mission Statement

The Republican Women of Greater Richmond club is a diverse group of women and men
who are committed to advancing and fostering the Republican Party and its objectives.
Founded in 2020, this club shares its chartered membership with the Virginia Federation
of Republican Women (VFRW) and the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW).
Our main mission is to promote and inform the public through political education,
participation and activities associated with the core principles of the Republican Party by
means of facilitating active cooperation among members and other local Republican women’s groups.
We will foster loyalty to the principles of the Republican Party which are freedom, equality,
and justice by which this nation’s government is founded. We will work diligently to
promote Republican nominees and candidates in all elections including nonpartisan activities.
In compliance with the requirements of the VFRW and the NFRW, we will strive to be active
participants in our community, our country and our state for the advancement of the
Republican Party and all Republican Women.
